Event Name:  Sandy River Bluegrass Festival

Event Description:  
A one day event in Troutdale showcasing an American genre of music called
"Bluegrass Music" and providing water safety education.

Event Location: Glenn Otto Park on the Sandy River, near downtown Troutdale, Or.
When:               1st Saturday in August, Gates open at noon, last set finishes approximately  9pm
Cost:                 $10 per person, kids under 10 free
Event Purpose:  Water Safety Education and Bluegrass Entertainment

Vendors will include food, arts and crafts providing an atmosphere of relaxed activity and simple
family fun that once defined American communities.

"Pickers" (small groups of musicians) will be welcomed to gather with one another in locations
throughout downtown Troutdale's restaurants, shops and streets.
